She studied at Víctor Ullate's school, joining her company in 1990. In 1998 she participated as guest artist in the tour of China of the "American Ballet Stars", that same year, and with her brother Ángel, she represents Spain in the Expo de Lisboa dancing: Le Corsaire pas de deux andLa Sylphide pas de deus. Later she joined the American Ballet Theater and in 2003 she was promoted to Soloist.
In 2008, she founded the company Corella Ballet with
her brother, assuming the position of Artistic Assistant Director and Principal Dancer.

In 2010, on the occasion of the presentation of Corella Ballet in New York City, the dancer
and choreographer María Pages created a pas de deux for Angel and Carmen named Soleá,
which reflects unconditional love and support during their career and their personal life.
In 2012 Carmen stars in the Aire de Loewe campaign, coinciding with the 40th anniversary
of the branding and extending their relationship until 2016. She was also chosen image of
In 2014 she organizes, with his brother Ángel, a tour throughout Spain called A + A,
accompanied by the famous violinist Ara Malikian and culminating with the farewell of the
Corella brothers from the stages in tehir hometown.
Currently she directs with her husband Dayron Vera, principal dancer of the National Ballet
of Cuba and professional photographer, CORELLA Dance Academy, in Barcelona,
specialized in the integral formation of classical ballet at a professional level.
